Accessibility Statement

Time for Inclusion is committed to making its website accessible (usable) by everyone, regardless of ability or disability, in line with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This accessibility statement applies to www.time4inclusion.co.uk

Compliance status

The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) define requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances and the exemptions listed below.

Non-accessible content

The content listed below is non-accessible for the following reason(s):

(a) non-compliance with the accessibility regulations

Whilst most of the body text across the site is read correctly, some of the widget boxes on some of the pages are not recognised by Google Chrome screen reader and are therefore not read. This is also the case with the menu tabs and other clickable links. It is not obvious why this should be the case, and it has been highlighted to our web host to see if there is a solution to this.

It is also currently not possible for the screen reader to read the contact details at the footer of each page. Again, this has been highlighted and we await a solution from our web hosts.

(b) disproportionate burden

If there is no easily adopted solution put forward by our webhosts, the cost of re-writing the site as a full WP site rather than a web builder product would be disproportionate.
